Embroider a design in center of each diamond of 1st row, skip 2nd row, embroider
3rd row and continue working every other row for entire Afghan.
Rambler Rose Design: Embroider about 6 sts in center of diamond about 1/3 inch
long and work 2 rows of outline st around the 6 sts made keeping them close to
the center sts, then work in lazy daisy st, 3 petals above the rose, 3 petals
below the rose, 3 petals on each side of rose.
Scallop: With Pastel color work a row of sc around entire Afghan.
2nd Row* Skip 1 st, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc in next st, skip 1 st, sc in next st,
repeat from * all around working 3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in each corner st.
3rd Row Sl st to center of shell, ch 4, dc in same space, ch 1, dc in same
space, ch 1, dc in same space, * ch 1, sc in sc, ch 1, 4 dc with ch 1 between in
center of next shell repeat from * all around working 8 dc with ch 1 between in
each corner.
